Star Veteran Actress Iretiola Doyle who featured in Banky W’s ‘Wedding Party’ opened up at Harvesters International Christian Center, Lagos, that her family members, including her mum, didn’t take it easy with her when she got pregnant at the age of 17.
She advised girls to surround themselves with people who will love and support them saying she wouldn’t have handled her pregnancy issue the way her mum did as she belong to a different generation as she was nurtured by people she met and they reminded her that her life didn’t end with that bad situation. She also added that she chose her friends wisely to overcome the stigma of early teenage pregnancy. She also revealed that she came from a very good home, not by wealth but value and she didn’t want that one mistake to define who she was as her pregnancy was the talk of the town for some years.
